Many people believe they will be happy and feel fulfilled when they are rich, married, promoted, etc. However, all the external factors in our lives will only account for 10% of the variance of our happiness with some 50% determined by our genetics. The good news is that the remaining 40% of our happiness can be relatively easily influenced by our intentional activities, how we think and how we behave. Happiness and wellbeing is not about what happens to you, but how you choose to respond to what happens.

Developed by Peter Coxon, a consultant psychologist who focuses on personal and leadership development, Forward Thinking helps you focus on the 40% and by increasing this it may, in turn, positively influence the 50%. In other words, it can help raise your self-awareness, your mindset and mindfulness. It can help you plan and review how your life is unfolding and help you make positive differences to your life that aid personal development.

This journal is hardback, case-bound with a colour coordinated ribbon book mark, size portrait 19.5 x 14.3cm with 144 pages. Gold foil block on the cover. Matt full colour cover, internal pages full colour with hand painted colour illustrations. The paper used is manufactured from pulp sourced from forests that are legally and sustainably managed.

Delivery

Any order for items kept in stock will be dispatched within 48 hours (Monday to Friday), although we do aim to get them out on the same day where possible, using First Class Royal Mail services.

Any order for items that are printed especially for you, take five working days to be created, printed and bound before they are shipped using a Tracked Mail service (UK only) or First Class Royal Mail services (delivery outside the UK). If you are purchasing a personalised item for a specific event, please allow sufficient time for your item to be created, printed, bound and delivered to your chosen destination.

If you have ordered a stock plus an item that is printed especially for you, please note these are usually shipped separately so you may receive two parcels.

Seems really thorough

I bought this for a friend to give her for Christmas as she likes everything to do with mindfulness. I'm reading some of it (without bending it too much!!) and it seems really thorough and is based on real research into how to be happier etc. Might be buying myself one too.
